Parks & Recreation Program Guide

This softball league is a great way to brush up on the basics of the sport! Games will begin on April 1st and will be played at Wheeler Park. This 7-week season is for those just beginning and being introduced to softball and for those that need to gain those skills! Age cutoff is December 31st. Volunteer coaches are always needed! A uniform is provided with registration. Grab a friend and join us this Spring!

The season will consist of a 7- game schedule and possibly finish the season in a single elimination tournament. Playoffs depend on season records, the bottom two teams will not make the playoffs.We have a maximum of 8-teams so don't wait or you will miss out.

This league caters to the more competitive player that wants top notch competition.The season will consist of a 7- game schedule and possibly finish the season in a single elimination tournament. Do you enjoy adult slow-pitch softball, but do you not have a full team to register?  If so, we have the league for you!  The 2022 spring adult draft softball league will form teams by pulling individual names out of a hat until each team has a full roster.  This is a coed, low rec league, where the overall goal is to have fun, meet new people, and of course, play softball.  Teams are responsible for game balls and uniforms.  Umpire fees are NOT included in the league fee. Teams will have to bring to the FIRST GAME ONLY $60.00.   EVERY GAME AFTER THE FIRST GAME EACH TEAM SHOULD BRING $15.00/GAME.

 

 

 

 

The spring doubleheader leagues will play a 16-game schedule, followed by a single elimination championship tournament.  For the double header they will have to bring the FIRST NIGHT ONLY $60.00 ($30.00-game 1&2, $30.00 for forfeit fee). EVERY WEEK AFTER THE FIRST GAME IT IS $15.00/GAME ($30.00 DBL HEADER)

Grab your paddles, it is time to play some pickleball! OKC Parks has a variety of division to choose form. Whether you are a beginner or fee like a professional, we have a group for you to play in. The Beginner, Intermediate, and Women's Leagues will be open play whereas a player will register, and the teams will be formed on site. The Men's Doubles Leagues will register as a pair. Players will play an 8-week season with the winners receiving a medal.

The OKC Metro Business League was created to allow employees from metro businesses an opportunity to play coed, slow pitch softball with fellow employees from work!  We would like to invite all city departments, state agencies and metro businesses to form a team to compete against other OKC metro businesses.  League will consist of an 8-game schedule, followed by a single-elimination championship playoff tournament. Umpire fees will be paid at time of game (pay at the plate), teams should prepare $15 for each game. FOR THE FIRST GAME ONLY EACH TEAM WILL NEED TO BRING $30.00($15/GAME $15 forfeit).

The spring “Five Inning Fridays” League consists of a 16-game scheduled, followed by a single elimination league championship tournament.  Each game will consist of five (5) innings, no time limit.  At the end of five innings, the game is over.  If the game is tied at the end of five innings, there will be only one (1) extra inning.  This is a doubleheader league so, each team should bring $15(game 1) $15 (game 2) FOR THE FIRST GAME ONLY EACH TEAM NEEDS TO HAVE $60.00, every game after that it is $15.00/game

The Men's/Coed League is a sanctioned league that provides adults the opportunity to continue playing soccer at a high level.  Game format is 11v11 and all games are played at Wendel Whisenhunt Sports Complex.  This is an 8-game season followed by a post season that only the top 4 teams would qualify for based on the total number of points accumulated in the season.  Referee fees are included in the team registration fee.  Maximum roster size is 25.  Teams are responsible for their own uniforms.  League may be extended, or have games played on different days of the week based on continued inclement weather.

The adult competitive baseball league is a truly unique program allowing competitive baseball players to continue to play the game that they love.  Teams will play doubleheaders on Saturdays or Sundays with a 2-hour and 15-minute time limit.  Game length will be 7 innings and umpire fees will be $10/inning, which are paid directly to the umpires at game time.  The season will consist of a 14-game schedule (doubleheaders), followed by a double elimination end of the season championship tournament.

Come join OKC Parks for this 5-week special needs baseball league! This league is tailor made to bring the best out of each participant. Both new and experienced players can benefit from the competition and fun! Come play ball!

This intro to competitive league will consist of 8 games: 4 home games and 4 away games.  Games may be on Saturday or Sunday.  Teams will travel to surrounding Metro areas, including Edmond, Mustang, Yukon, Guthrie, North Oklahoma City, El Reno, and Shawnee depending on how many teams are in your bracket.  Younger children may play up two age groups, however, older children may not play down any age group.  All new players are required to provide a copy of their birth certificates so that we can verify their age.  Uniform included.

Oklahoma Premier League provides an opportunity for competitive soccer players to play at the highest level of soccer locally and around the state. In order to play in this league, you will have to try out for one of our designated teams. Players are required to provide copies of their birth certificates so that we can verify the player's age. Uniform not included in the registration fee.

Come join our OKC Parks Basketball League where the competition get started! This league is based on fun and competition. Come compete in this seven-week league for quality basketball!

Come get connected to our E-sports programs. This will give parents an opportunity to receive information on our E-sports programs as well as give gamers a time to play! Dinner will be provided.

The youth coed Academy soccer league is sanctioned through the Oklahoma Soccer Association, provides the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental skills in a safe, fun, and noncompetitive environment.  All teams will have one weekly practice and games will be on Saturday.  Teams will play an 7-game schedule beginning in March.  Teams may travel to surrounding Metro areas, including Edmond, Mustang, Yukon, Guthrie, North Oklahoma City, El Reno, and Shawnee depending on how many teams are in your bracket.  League may be extended, or have games played on different days of the week based on continued inclement weather.  Uniform included.

The OKC Dodgers Rookie League provides the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental skills in a safe, fun, and noncompetitive environment. All teams will have one game per week played on Saturdays. Additionally, teams will have one practice per week and that will be based on the coach's availability. Practices are scheduled to start the week of March 21st. Teams will play a 7-game schedule beginning April 1st, followed by the Play Ball Event located at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. All games will be played at Wheeler Park. Now offering 12U division!

Whether this is the first exposure to tennis or you're looking to take your child's game to the next level, this program gives your child the perfect opportunity to expand their talents and put them to the test. This program is once a week and consists of a 2-hour session full of drills, skill development, and fun games! Pick either the Tuesday or Thursday session. No equipment required!

The youth 4v4 soccer league provides kids and teens in the OKC metro area the opportunity to learn and/or further develop fundamental skills in a safe and fun environment.  Teams will play a 7-game schedule beginning in June followed by a single elimination tournament.  All games will be played at the Wendel Whisenhunt Sports Complex.  League may be extended, or have games played on different days of the week based on continued inclement weather.
