Game length will be 9 innings, and umpire fees will be $10/inning paid by teams at the plate prior to the start of the game. Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. All games will be played at Woodson Field at the Wendel Whisenhunt Sports Complex.

The OKC Dodgers Rookie League is committed to enriching the lives of our youth and fostering a love of the game. The league provides a developmental, fun and safe environment for the enjoyment of the game of baseball. The OKC Dodgers Rookie League intends to help youth to set and work towards common goals, and to build the citizens of tomorrow through character, leadership ability and confidence.
 
The OKC Dodgers are providing jerseys and hats for players, reducing the cost of participation to $55 per child. Players are responsible for bringing their own pants and shoes.
 
Teams will play an 8-game schedule beginning April 7th through May 26th with practices beginning the week of March 26th. Games will be played at wither Stars and Stripes or Wheeler Park.

The end of the day is designated for participants "Open Mic" where self-expression takes the stage.

Join us while we have fun digging in the soil, planting container gardens to take home, creating crafts, and learning about how to design a garden. Find out what's bugging you and your plants by exploring the world of insects, plants and diseases. We will also enjoy exploring the grounds of the Will Rogers Arboretum and includes a few field trips away to area destinations. Space is limited to 10, so sign up as soon as you can! Nutritious snacks will be provided throughout the day. Parents should provide a sack lunch and drink. Aftercare is available from 4pm-5:30pm for $50 a child.

Unleash your child's inner Picasso or Monet in our hands-on and creative week long Youth Artist Camp. Camp will include instruction in painting, weaving, sculpting, watercolors, and specialized 3D projects by local professional artists and the Arts Council of Oklahoma City. Students ages 8-12 will play in Minecraft while they learn how to code with Microsoft’s MakeCode platform. They will program an Agent robot to complete challenges and even change the weather, or as they say in the world of Minecraft: they will make it rain Ocelots and Wolves!

 

By the end of this Workshop, participants will have:

· Improved their computational and creative thinking

· Read and understand code in the MakeCode environment

· Programmed code in Minecraft to change the weather and control an agent

Round out this radical week by manipulating matter in all of its three states! With various sport, art and craft, and learning activities, our structured camp programs will keep your child entertained while they are out of school. Campers will need to provide their own lunch. Camps and organized activities will run from 8:00am to 5:00pm and you can pick-up/drop-off your camper any time during camp hours. Cost is $10 for the first camper and $8 for each sibling.
