Sun 12/08/19 to Sat 02/15/20  Youth Futsal League

Futsal is a Brazilian touch on indoor soccer. It is a fast paced, highly skilled game of soccer played on a hard surface (Basketball floor). Futsal is aimed at improving your foot skills, passing skills, agility, and spatial awareness. Players are required to wear non-marking indoor soccer shoes and shin guards. Teams will consist of a maximum of 12 players. Teams are required to provide their own matching uniforms. Games will consist of 2halves of 24 minutes. Games are 5v5 (4 field players and a keeper). Each team will play 7 games followed by a single elimination playoff tournament. Tournament champs will receive 12 championship medals.

Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation offers divisions of basketball leagues for boys and girls ages 5 - 12. Youth basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. Give your child the opportunity to develop balance, hand eye coordination, teamwork, social skills and confidence with this 8-game Youth Basketball League.
 
Practices are one day a week dependent on coach's and team availability.  Games are played at Municipal Gym, Woodson Gym or Foster Recreation Center on Saturdays depending on which league you register for. Included in registration: uniform jersey, practices, games, and end of season award. Players are responsible for all other equipment.
 
The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. Volunteer coaches are allowed to bring any amount of kids to their team.  The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please contact the league director.

Do you enjoy adult slow-pitch softball, but do you not have a full team to register?  If so, we have the league for you!  The 2020 Spring Adult Draft Softball League will form teams by pulling individual names out of a hat until each team has a full roster.  This is a coed, low rec league, where the overall goal is to have fun, meet new people, and of course, play softball.  Teams are responsible for game balls and uniforms.  Umpire fees are included in the league fee.

The adult competitive baseball league is a truly unique program allowing competitive baseball players to continue to play the game that they love.  Teams will play once a week on a Saturday or Sunday with games lastly approximately three hours.  Game length will be 9 innings and umpire fees will be $10/inning, which are paid directly to the umpires at game time.  The season will consist of a 14-game schedule, followed by a double elimination end of the year championship tournament.

Mon 06/01/20  OKC United FC Tryouts - Youth Competitive Club Soccer

It is the mission of OKC United FC to provide a safe environment for players to excel in the community. We are dedicated to providing our players with love, honor, and respect through the game of soccer. We will create a comfortable atmosphere for our players and coaches to showcase their talents and skills at OKCUFC, state and national levels.
 
Tryouts are held once a year for the seasonal club year beginning June 1, 2020. Players must tryout for their appropriate age groups, unless prior approval has been given by members of the OKCUFC Board. It is recommended that a player wishing to play up should attend both age group tryouts. Coaches will decide if players are qualified to play up.
 
The coaches who will be coaching the teams in an age group, have control of the player selections for their teams, with final approval from the OKCUFC Board.   Additional coaches will serve as evaluators to assist the team coaches. Our coaches have been carefully selected, and the coaching assessment of players is what OKCUFC relies on for player selection. These trained coaches are looking to pick the best possible players to create the best possible team.
 
If a player is unable to attend a tryout with the appropriate age group, please make an effort to attend a tryout with the age group one year younger or older than the appropriate age group. Please notify the OKCUFC Board if this issue arises.
 
Individuals selected to an OKCUFC team will be notified throughout the tryout process. Players will be notified at the tryout, or in most cases by email, of being selected or not selected to the team.

A true introduction to skateboarding for those who have never skateboarded before. Course includes focus on basic safety, park etiquette, and building foundational skills for further development.
